Sample 13 Exhibition

I am very proud to have been selected to be part of this year's Sample 13 exhibition, a group show of artists and photographers that are clients of theprintspace , London. The exhibition displays fresh new artists/photographers and comprises of an exciting selection of work from Kyler Zeleny’s Canadian landscapes from his travelogue ‘Out West’ to the self portraiture of Jocelyn Allen in the series ‘The Many Faces of JFA’ to the delicate illustrations of Holly Sharpe and the whimsical skies in Sinem Mucur’s work. My 'sample' is from the series Beautiful Brutalism , which is an ongoing exploration of Brutalist architecture from around the UK. The exhibition runs from the 5th - 30th April 2013, 9-7pm mon-fri and admission is free.

RIBA Photo Library

I am very proud to say that my architectural images are now represented by the RIBA Photo Library, ribapix. The Collection contains 1.5 million images of architecture world-wide in a variety of formats. The earliest photographs in the collection date from the 1850s and it contains the work of many internationally renowned architectural photographers. You can view and purchase my images here. I will be adding new projects very soon!

Edmund de Waal - A Local History

Last Autumn I photographed ceramicist Edmund De Waal's new site specific installation at the new Alison Richard Building on the Sidgwick Site of Cambridge University. The work consists of three vitrines filled with porcelain, sunk below the paving outside the building. The work makes you stop and look, to take a moment before entering the building. I found the work really interesting to photograph and when the light hit the installations it really highlighted the different colours and shapes of the porcelain. The whole project has been added to my website and can be viewed here. Some images have also been added to CRASSH Pinterest board here.

Merry Christmas!

Hope you have a lovely Christmas and a prosperous and peaceful new year!
