Photography of Ceramicist Jane Cairns

Back in April I had the pleasure of photographing ceramicist Jane Cairns in her studio situated by the Thames in London. It was great to spend the day with Jane and get shown the places she visits along the edge of the Thames which gives her inspiration for her work. It was lovely to see my images being used in her latest newsletter, which can be seen here .

Museum of Making Construction Photography

I was recently commissioned by White Arkitekter to photograph the construction and finished pavilion for Clerkenwell Design Week 2016. The Museum of Making, a Swedish barn – references White Arkitekter’s Scandinavian heritage, transposing this agricultural motif into an urban context. White’s team had chosen to deconstruct this Scandinavian archetype and showcase its simplicity in a new way. As a photographer it's great to document the construction as well as the finished building or structure so this was a great commission and was fascinating to see Nicholas Alexander team build the pavilion over 4 days using Equitone Facades. RIBA celebrating National Gardening Week

A few weeks ago between the 11-17 April it was National Gardening Week and to celebrate RIBA Collections looked through their collection of architectural images and chose different images daily that highlighted the relationship between architecture and gardens. I was thrilled to see one of my images of The London College of Fashion terrace by StudioWeave was chosen by Wilson Yau.
